Born: 7 February 1961

Deceased: Wednesday, 2 December 2015 (aged 54 years old, heart complications)
Arwah Farid meninggal pada hari Rabu, 2 Disember 2015, pada pukul 12.00 tengahari di Hospital Selayang atas komplikasi sakit jantung. 
Solat jenazah: Masjid Al-Firdaus, Bandar Baru Selayang (BBS)

Burial place: Perkuburan Islam Kampung Bendahara Selayang, Selangor
Arwah dikebumikan di Perkuburan Islam Kampung Bendahara Selayang.
Nombor Kubur: K385 (sebelah kiri ialah K399, kubur depan ialah K386)

Health: Farid was a normal healthy kid. However, he suffered from kidney problems as a child and put on weight and became obese. He later developed diabetes, which progressed to diabetic complications. He needed insulin injections. His blood glucose was in the high 20s (mmol/L) in October 2006. He did exercises and played badminton, went on a lean diet, and lost a lot of weight. Sadly, he died of diabetic heart complications in ICU 9 years later in December 2015.

1. UPM, Serdang (BSc Forest Engineering)
2. Oregon State University (MSc)

Farid's workplace:
Forest Research Institute Malaysia (FRIM), Kepong, Selangor (1985-2015 = 30 years)
He also did outside projects.
